Sunday March 14th

Today was Caroline's first trip to the Pathmark.  She was great, of course.  Her parents on the other hand were ill prepared and had not eaten lunch yet.

Sunday evening we skyped with Gran Jan.

Sunday to Monday Caroline slept 11+ hours.  She is such a great child.

First weekend of march.

It's amazing how much changes when you have little one. Yeah i knew there were would be changes. I'd like to think i've been pretty prepared for most of them. It's the amazing things that happen, that I'm not prepared for. When Caroline looks into my eyes, i melt. Th sounds she makes, even the cries are cute. She snores. We both love it. She sees me from across the room and she knows who i am.

I don't really care about the nine inch nails hoodie that she puked on a month ago. All of my fav t shirts have spit up on them. I could care less. Prior to Caroline it would have bugged me. She looks at me and smiles. I love it. I drive differently now. When she is in the car and when she isn't. Not that i was a bad driver before. I take things a little slower.

I used to stay up until the wee hours of the morning watching movies, mostly horror of course. I can't remember the last time i stayed up late night and watched something alone. I have a back log of things to watch. Rachael and I have tried to watch "Where the Wild Things Are" at least 5 times. We have only made it past the first 20 mins. From what we've seen it looks amazing. Hopefully we will make it all the way through soon.

there were way more thoughts involved in this. but the distraction of an angel has swept them all away.

I am truly one lucky guy.
